Prayer:  There are many forms and types of prayer represented in Scripture:
Prayer of Agreement:  This is where two or more are in agreement praying for a thing. "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in Heaven." Matthew 18:19 ESV
Prayers of Petition & Supplication:  This is presenting your requests earnestly to God. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 NASB
Prayer of Faith:  Is used in healing, deliverance, and in personal forgiveness. "And the prayer of faith shall deliver the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:15 KJV
Prayer of Thanksgiving & Praise:  We use this form of prayer as an entrance into the holy of holies going from the outer gates into the inner courts into the very presence of God. "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." Psalm 100:4 ASV
Prayer of Commitment:  Is committing that situation over to God for His promises to come to pass concerning it. "Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed. Proverbs 16: 3 AMP
Prayer of Consecration:  The prayer of consecration is what we see Jesus doing in the Garden of Gethsemane before He went to the Cross.  He prayed not His will, but the will of God be done. Matthew 26: 36-46 NIV. He was consecrating Himself to do the will of God, regardless of His personal feelings or desires. This at times can be a struggle in the life of a Christian. This is where we die to self and commit living for Him.
The last two I will mention: Prayer of Intercession & Praying in the Spirit are two we mainly use in our ministry, along with the Prayer of Agreement in coming along side of you believing with you for the desired result to manifest.
Prayer of Intercession:  To intercede according to Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary means: to intervene between parties with a view to reconciling differences. We here at ZIM know the Word and know how to boldly go to the Throne Room of Grace on behalf of you and your loved ones knowing God hears and answers prayers according to His Word- which is His will.
Praying in the Spirit:  From experience I can tell you that praying in a prayer language or "tongues" is like dynamite and explosive by nature to the kingdom of darkness. "For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful." 1 Corinthians 14:14
